In the heart of the Ada region in Ghana lies a vibrant community full of promise—but also one facing significant educational challenges. Many children in Ada attend school without the most basic supplies, some walk long distances barefoot, and others go to class on empty stomachs. At Eyes of Hope, we believe every child deserves the right tools and conditions to succeed in school and in life.
This is why we’re launching a community-centered donation project focused on improving educational outcomes for school children in Ada. Through this initiative, we aim to empower the next generation with the resources they need to learn, grow, and unlock their full potential.
The Problem We're Solving
Lack of basic educational materials such as exercise books, pens, and learning aids
Worn-out or absent school uniforms that affect student confidence and attendance
Inadequate access to proper meals and hygiene, which impacts concentration and health
Limited support for girls, especially when it comes to menstrual hygiene
Neglected children with disabilities who lack tailored support and inclusion
These challenges have led to high dropout rates, low academic performance, and a cycle of poverty that education can help break.
Our Vision for Ada's Children
We want to transform the educational experience of school children in Ada by:
✅ Providing school supplies to over 500 children in rural and semi-urban areas
✅ Donating school uniforms and shoes to children in need
✅ Setting up periodic feeding and health support programs for vulnerable students
✅ Launching a 'Girls in School' support campaign to keep adolescent girls in the classroom
✅ Distributing learning kits for children with special needs
✅ Promoting inclusive education through awareness and teacher training

Ada is one of Ghana's culturally rich but underserved regions. Despite the strong spirit of its people, the children here face barriers that shouldn’t exist in today’s world.
